COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ
How to make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine in Massachusetts
Making an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine depends on what health center you visit. There are health centers all over the state that are providing the COVID-19 vaccine, so finding one closest to you will be easy.
Be sure to follow the specific guidelines for each clinic on how to make an appointment. All centers may schedule their appointments differently, so it’s important to have all of the information ahead of time. When scheduling your appointment, please keep in mind a second dose is required at a later time.
At this time, the State of Massachusetts is currently allowing those in Phase 1 and Phase 2 (Groups 1 & 2) to receive the vaccine. Due to limited supply, it is imperative we cooperate with these guidelines until the vaccine is available to the general public. Please reference our vaccine registration page for updated information.
The State of Massachusetts has also provided an eligibility checker to see if you are eligible based on the current guidelines. The State, as well as AFC Worcester, will update their website as new vaccine information becomes available.
In the meantime, AFC Urgent Care Worcester is still open and available for all urgent care services. Please visit us on a walk-in basis for any x-ray needs, STD testing, physicals, and more.
As stated previously, all health centers that have the vaccine are operating differently. It is important to access the information specific to each center.
